Hi Guys,
I was reading another thread and a question came to my mind..

I entered in US on AP and got the I-94 with the validity date as my AP date. Now my AP is going to expire and I am not going to travel anywhere any time this year. So just wondering what will happen when the I-94 is expired. Do I have to get it renewed from somewhere or just dun worry about it. or do I have to apply for a new AP.

Can anyone can shed some light on this situation?

If your AP expires, renew it. Dont worry about I-94

My LCA appl has a priority date of June 2004; and so far, Dallas BEC has lost my resent-appl twice. Lawyers failed to retrieve any status after that, and suggested a congressional liaison enquiry into it. If anybody is aware of this enquiry, would you plz let me know? Thanx.

Sorry I am not going to be help, but I would be interested in knowing when you find, why that was so.. I am one of the unlucky few whu missed the July 2007 filing bonanza by 1 day, based on when my labor was filed.. so if there is an alternate way to assign PD.. I can still continue crying....:confused:

But present i am not working. So i decided to go for OPT Extension is that possible.
1) In case my employer with draw H1 then can i apply for OPT extension with new employer. Is that possible.
IF yes how long it takes to cancel the H1 and updates MY SEVIS. And what is the process
for applying extension.

I recently got married. My is currently on H1 and is currently in US. Will my wife's I-485 be returned as the priority date is not current I am in EB3 priority date is Mar 2002. Anybody in similar situation as me..please post...
you can not file I-485 for your wife till PD becomes current.
I'm in the same boat. you need to make sure your wife maintains her visa status. Since she is on H1 she should file a labor to make use of 7th year.

My 6th year on H1 ends Dec 2007. My PERM LC is pending and the lawyer is confident I won't run into problems. My question is after 6 years on H1 can I switch to H4 since my husband is on H1? Or if 6 years max given for an H visa?

It won't be through any company. It would be through the school itself. If the school needs a teacher then it can file for his/her h1b.
